October marks the time in our school year when our students in grades 3 – 5 will take the MEAP. MEAP Reading will be assessed on October 8-9. Writing will be assessed on Thursday, October 10. MEAP Mathematics will be assessed on Tuesday October 22, and Science and Social Studies will be assessed on Wednesday, October 22. You can contribute to a good experience with the MEAP by making sure your child has a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast. You can also encourage your son or daughter to do his or her very best on every challenge of this assessment and never to give up. They will hear that same message from their teachers. Together we can encourage and support our students as they apply what they have learned to their testing. Testing will begin at 9am, please have your child arrive at school on time. Students that are tardy or absent must wait to makeup the testing for that day at a later date.
