Good afternoon,
As stated in an earlier post, we continue to finalize our numbers for the year. While there are always fluctuations in class sizes, this year has been particularly challenging due to late registrations, late drops due to virtual programs or leaving the district, and a years loss of trend data for population growth or decline.
At this time our Kindergarten numbers are exceptionally high and we have been approved an additional classroom. This is excellent news for Nowlin schools growth! Unfortunately, this does cause short term disruption.
We have posted for a new teacher and will begin holding interviews.
Once a teacher is selected and recommended for hire we will split the Kindergarten class and both Ms. Casados and Ms. Golec will be the Kindergarten teachers and we will welcome a new First grade teacher to our wonderful community.
