The Downriver Family YMCA in Partnership with Jack’s Place for Autism is sponsoring a Buddy Basketball League.
The Buddy Basketball League is a program for kids ages 6-10 and 11-14 with and without special needs. Each team will have two trained staff coaches and parent volunteers. In addition players will work with “Buddies” who are kids ages 8-16 volunteering with the program. “Buddies” will get a jersey and have a special training provided by Jack’s Place for Autism.
“Buddy” Cost: $10 (includes special Buddy jersey). *No membership required. Register at the Downriver Y or online at www.ymcadetroit.org/downriver
