Good morning,
In the coming weeks I will be taking a brief sabbatical to spend time with my new born child (essentially the month of October). While I am away, Ms. Abdulla will be the principal covering Nowlin. Ms. Abdulla is currently the Assistant Principal at Miller Elementary School. She comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge. I have already met with Ms. Abdulla and informed her about all the wonderful happenings at Nowlin school. She has also toured the building and met with several staff members. Ms. Abdulla even attended this weekends Thunderbirds game. In addition to Ms. Abdulla being up to date on the expectations of the building and the initiatives within the building, the staff are also up to date on all expectations. I will also be available via email and phone calls. I am quite confident that this brief time away will not interrupt your child’s learning and the transition will be seamless.
