The Big Read Kick-off is happening this Saturday, March 7, from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the Henry Ford, Anderson Theater, 20900 Oakwood Blvd., Dearborn.
There will be free books and seeds; a keynote lecture by Dr. Selena Smith of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor; and Tree crafts.
The schedule is as follows:
Welcome & Introductions: 11-11:30am
Keynote: 11:30-12:00pm
Crafts: 12:00-1pm
