Good afternoon,
The clock is quickly ticking toward the first day of school. As a reminder class lists will be posted today at 3 o’clock and the pta is hosting a “welcome back ice cream social” today from 4pm until 5pm on the front lawn.
We are starting the year off with a couple of vacant teaching positions. However, do not fret, we have highly qualified staff working in those rooms. We have also recommended staff to be hired. The process from recommendation to actual hire does take a little bit of a time but we are on our way and will have all positions filled shortly.
The staff are ready, hopeful and excited for this year. We have a theme “It’s Grow Time” (grateful, resilient, optimistic, willing). Two specific areas of focus this year are STEM and Social Emotional Learning in multiple formats (as always). We will continue to focus on the whole child and ensure that they have the foundation needed to be highly successful adults.
