I hope that this blog post finds you and your family well. Spring Break is over and we are back into full swing of remote learning. Please make sure that you are in contact with your child’s teacher. It is extremely important that we maintain a strong working relationship at this time so that we can support you and your family in anyway possible.
We will be hosting a virtual book fair. The book fair technically begins on Monday, April 20th but families can start shopping on April 15th online. All books will be shipped to family homes. Families are able to share with family and friends. All proceeds will still benefit Nowlin and help us earn Scholastic Dollars. Do not forget that Dearborn is offering meal pick up at O.L. Smith on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The meals include breakfast and lunch.
The district has been hard at work creating the required Remote Learning for Continuity of Learning while schools are physically closed. Once the plan is finalized it will be shared through a multitude of mediums. Here is a letter from Dr. Maleyko in regards to the plan:
